With the help of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Pentredŵr community has written a book covering the history of all of the houses in the Pentredŵr area. With over 250 pages of maps, pictures, historic records, and descriptions, the book is composed of contributions by almost 80 members of the community under the editorial stewardship of David Crane.

Pentredŵr is a small Welsh village, but in an area overflowing with history. Every house in the area has a unique story to tell - from legends of the medieval princes of Wales and stories of traitors in the Civil War, to everyday tales of farmers, millers, and postmen. In this volume the people of Pentredŵr tell histories of their homes and the other landmarks in the surrounding area, along with stories of the people that lived there.

Copies of the book are available for £8 from the museum in Llangollen.
